About Ito Healthcare Group

Our Philosophy
Here in the Islands, we know family is very important. At the Ito Healthcare Group, we strive to treat each resident and client as we would our own family member. Our goal is to provide quality, compassionate care, while also helping each one we touch feel comfortable and at home.

We recognize many Hawaii families feel a strong sense of duty to care for their family members on their own — even if that means making tremendous personal sacrifices and compromising their own health. The Ito Healthcare Group makes our services available before family members suffer from burnout.  We can care for loved ones when taking care of family members is no longer feasible on your own and help to make that transition as smooth as possible.

You may lack the medical expertise necessary to provide quality care at home, or you may already be stressed and stretched with other family and work obligations. The Ito Healthcare Group is here to help you by offering different levels of care depending on the needs of you and your loved ones.

Family members often compliment us on our positive, kind support and the high quality of care we provide.

“Having to place my mother in a nursing home facility was one of the hardest decisions my family has ever had to make, and we struggled over the selection of that facility. No doubt, we made the right decision as there hasn’t been a day that has gone by that we have regretted our selection… The care she is receiving is exemplary!”
— Leslie Yamamoto

“You and your staff have been so nice and have treated us like family from the moment I contacted your facility…Of course I was apprehensive with placing my mom in a new home, but Carol (nurse) was so friendly in welcoming me and I soon felt completely at ease and I knew my mom would be in a good home…”
— Julie Finley

“…After meeting your staff and visiting every day since our mother was transferred, we can sleep easy and feel that we have made the right decision…I can’t remember all the names of the staff we met, but all we talked with seem so happy to be doing the work they are doing. I am amazed that you are able to staff your facility with such great people…Thank you all!”
— James A. Nakamoto
